This website, the associated mobile applications, and the services provided through the website and the mobile applications (the “Platform”) are owned by TalentServe India Pvt Ltd and/ or its affiliates (“TalentServe”). TalentServe (“we”, “us”, and “our”) is fully committed to respecting your privacy and want you to understand how we collect, use, and share data about you.
This Privacy Policy covers our data collection practices and describes your rights to access, correct, or restrict our use of your personal data. We are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy describes: (a) statement of TalentServe’s practices and policies; (b) the types of information that we may collect from you when you access/use the Platform, and (c) purposes of and the way in which we will collect, use and disclose information obtained from your use of the Platform; and (d) security practices and procedures for protecting the privacy of your information.
This Privacy Policy forms an electronic contract within the provisions of the (Indian) Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act“) and the Rules made thereunder and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic documents/records in various statutes as amended by the IT Act, from time to time. This Privacy Policy does not require any physical, electronic, or digital signature and this Privacy Policy shall be a legally binding document between you and TalentServe.
By using or accessing the Platform, you are agreeing with and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. You also expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your Information (as defined below) in any manner as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy or the terms contained herein, you should immediately cease using the Platform. As this Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as the Platform and its content develops and matures, we encourage you to check this Privacy Policy regularly.
“Account” refers to the password-protected member registration account created by users to access and use the Platform.
“Non-personal Identification Information” refers to any non-personal information collected from you pursuant to your access/use of the Platform, including but not limited to the browser name, the type of computer, and technical information about your means of connection to the Platform such as the operating system, the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
“Personal Identification Information” means information or an opinion (including information or an opinion forming part of a database), whether true or not, and whether recorded in a material form or not, about a person whose identity is apparent, or can be reasonably ascertained, from the information or opinion including, but not limited to, when you visit the Platform, register, apply for a position, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and anything else in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on the Platform. You may be asked for personal information including, but not limited to name, email address, phone number, and residential address disclosed by you in relation to the services available on the Platform. You may, however, also visit our Platform anonymously. TalentServe will collect Personal Identification Information from you only if you voluntarily submit such information to us. You can always refuse to supply Personal Identification Information, except that it may prevent you from engaging in certain activities/services available on the Platform.
“Sensitive personal data or information”/”SPDI” consists of information relating to the following: (i) passwords; (ii) financial information such as bank account or credit card or debit card or other payment instrument details; (iii) physical, physiological and mental health condition; (iv) sexual orientation; (v) medical records and history; (vi) Biometric information; (vii) any detail relating to the above clauses as provided to body corporate for providing service; and (viii) any of the information received under above clauses by body corporate for processing, stored or processed under lawful contract or otherwise. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, Non-personal Identification Information, Personal Identification Information, and SPDI shall together be referred to as “Information”.
“Third Party” refers to any person or entity other than you or us.
The terms data and information are interchangeably used in this Privacy Policy.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals’ Information. We support the right to privacy, including the rights of individuals to control the dissemination and use of personal data that describes them, their personal choices, or life experiences. We are bound by the privacy principles set out in the IT Act and applicable rules (“Privacy Laws”) in relation to its management of Information of Indian citizens and permanent residents. We will only collect Information using this Platform and use, disclose and store that Information in accordance with the Privacy Laws and this Privacy Policy.
The type of information we collect from you depends upon your use of the Platform. Generally speaking, however, the information which we may collect can be divided into the following broad categories:
Personal Identification Information you give us: we receive and store information that you enter into the Platform. This may represent a wide range of information. For example, when you create an Account on the Platform, we will collect information from you such as your name, e-mail id, phone number, residential address, career-related, qualifications, and marital status. In some situations, we may also require you to disclose demographic information including gender, age, education, family history, and other relevant information.
From Third Party Sites: You may also register for an Account using your existing Facebook, LinkedIn, Gmail, or similar Third Party accounts and log-in credentials (your “Third–Party Site Account”). As part of the functionality of the Platform, you may link your Account with Third-Party Site Accounts, by either: (i) providing your Third Party Site Account login information to us through the Platform or (ii) allowing us to access your Third-Party Site Account, as is permitted under the applicable terms and conditions that govern your use of each Third Party Site Account. If you decide to register by logging into the Site vide a Third Party Site Account, we will obtain the information you have provided to the applicable Third Party site service provider (such as your “real” name, email address, profile picture, names of friends, names of groups to which you belong, other information you make publicly available via the applicable Third Party site service provider and/or other information you authorize us to access by authorizing the Third-Party site service provider to provide such information) from your Third Party Site Accounts. Depending on the Third Party Site Accounts you choose and subject to the privacy settings that you have set in such Third Party Site Accounts, you understand that by granting us access to the Third Party Site Accounts, we will access, make available, and store (if applicable and as permitted by the Third Party site service provider and authorized by you) the Information in your Third Party Site Accounts so that it is available on and through your Account on the Site.
Non-personal Identification Information we collect from you: we may from time to time receive and store certain automatic information relating to your use of and behavior on the Platform. For example, we may record information such as the areas of the Platform accessed by you, location, and your IP address. This enables us to identify the areas of our Platform that are most popular and to tailor the Platform accordingly.
Non-personal Identification Information stored and obtained from “Cookies”: the Platform makes use of a feature of Internet web browsers called “cookies”; small pieces of information stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. The use of cookies allows your browser to remember some specific information relating to you and your use of the Platform and helps us to make your use of the Platform easier by storing information about your preferences. Whenever you visit our Platform, we will check with your browser for the presence of our cookies, which contain information such as whether you have visited the Platform before and your preferences for our Platform. If you prefer not to receive cookies you can adjust your Internet browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when cookies are being used. However, the vast majority of our Platform will not function if cookies have been turned off, and set your browser to “warn” you when cookies are used will reduce your enjoyment of the Platform. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you leave cookies fully functional. We never use cookies to retrieve information from your computer that was not originally sent by us, do not allow or share Third Party access to cookies placed by our Platform, and except as outlined above, do not share any information obtained from them with any Third Parties.
SPDI: You may also be asked to disclose/affirm certain SPDI including but not limited to details of your health condition or medical history, etc., for the purposes of accuracy in providing services on the Platform. The type of information collected from you will vary based on your interaction on the Platform. We also collect some data automatically, like information about your device and what parts of our Services you interact with or spend time using. TalentServe undertakes to protect the data provided by you in accordance with reasonable security practices and procedures. You hereby consent to the disclosure of your SPDI to Third-Parties such as employees of as required by them for the purposes of performing their functions in relation to the Platform.
Payment Data: If you make purchases, we collect certain data about your purchase (such as your name and address) as necessary to process your order. You must provide certain payment and billing data directly to our payment processing partners, including your name, credit card information, billing address, and mobile number. For security, TalentServe does not collect or store sensitive cardholder data, such as full credit card numbers or card authentication data.
The data listed above is stored by us and associated with your account.
You directly provide us with most of the information we collect. You do this by filling out the registration
details on the Platform, linking to the third party sites, filling out our forms and surveys
TalentServe and service providers acting on our behalf (like Google Analytics and third-party advertisers)
use server log files and automated data collection tools like cookies, tags, scripts, customized links,
device or browser fingerprints, and web beacons (together, “Data Collection Tools”) when you access and use
the Services. These Data Collection Tools automatically track and collect certain System Data and Usage Data
(as detailed in Section 1) when you use the Services. In some cases, we tie data gathered through those Data
Collection Tools to other data that we collect as described in this Privacy Policy.
We use third-party browser and mobile analytics services like google tag manager, Google Analytics,
Mixpanel, Netcore, Branch, Firebase, Facebook Analytics on the Services. These services use Data Collection
Tools to help us analyze your use of the Services, including information like the third-party website you
arrive from, how often you visit, events within the Services, usage and performance data, and where the
application was downloaded from. We use this data to improve the Services, better understand how the
Services perform on different devices and provide information that may be of interest to you.
We use third-party advertising services. Depending on the types of advertising services we use, they may
place cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, phone, or other devices to collect data about
your use of our Services, and may access those tracking technologies in order to serve these tailored
advertisements to you.
The information which is collected from the Platform is also used by us to operate the Platform, to provide
you with information, activities, services, features, or resources we make available on the Platform, and to
help us improve the Platform and the services we offer. We use your information for services to:

unauthorized access or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We implement appropriate

Unfortunately, however, no system can be 100% secured, so, we cannot guarantee absolute security as no
method of protection and transmission of data is completely secure. We are also not responsible for any
breach of security or for any actions of any Third Parties that receive your Information. Notwithstanding
anything contained in this Privacy Policy or elsewhere, we shall not be held responsible for any loss,
damage or misuse of your Information, if such loss, damage or misuse is attributable to any event that is
beyond our reasonable control.
An important aspect of the security of your Information is the password protection system. You must keep
your Account login credentials including password secure and take care not to disclose it to any Third
Parties. Although we will take care to ensure maximum security for your information, you are ultimately
solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your Account login credentials. Please notify us
immediately if you believe that your password has been disclosed, or you become aware of any unauthorized
use of your Account, or any other breach of security.
We store your information with Amazon AWS located in Mumbai, India. Some of the personal information you provide to us will be stored or processed on our behalf by third-party suppliers and data processors and may be located in other jurisdictions, such as the United States and Israel, whose laws may differ from the jurisdiction in which you live. Whether to third parties or internally, any transfers of personal information from the European Economic Area (“EEA”) to countries not deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection are governed by European Union (EU) standard contractual clauses and/or equivalent data transfer regulations to protect the security and confidentiality of personal information. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal information is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy.
You may seek access to information that we hold about you. We will provide access to that information in
accordance with the applicable laws although there are certain exemptions that may apply to the provision of
that information. We may charge an administration fee for granting access to information.
We will also take reasonable steps to accurately record the Information that you provide to us including any
subsequent updates. You can review, update and amend the information that we maintain about you, and you may
request we delete information about you that is inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant for legitimate
purposes, or is being processed in a way that infringes any applicable legal requirement. Your right to
review, update, amend and delete your information is also subject to applicable laws, including any
statutory retention requirements.
You have certain rights around the use of your data, including the ability to opt-out of promotional emails,
and collection of your data by certain analytics providers. You can update or terminate your account from
within our Services, and can also contact us for individual rights requests about your personal data.
Parents who believe we’ve unintentionally collected personal data about their underage child should contact
us for help deleting that information.
We recognize the privacy interests of children and encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in
their children’s online activities and interests. Children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic
Area) should not use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Parents who believe that TalentServe may have collected personal data from a child under those ages can
submit a request that it be removed to hello@talentserve.org.
The Platform may contain links to other applications or websites. With the exception of other platforms owned
by us, you agree and acknowledge that these applications and websites are operated by Third Parties and are
not controlled by, affiliated to, or associated with us unless expressly specified. Accordingly, we do not
control the privacy practices or policies of the applications and websites reached through links from this
Platform. If you have any questions about the privacy practices and policies of those Third Party platforms,
then you should contact the companies controlling those sites directly.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy guarantees that we will collect or store any information about you and your
use of this Platform. You are responsible for keeping your own records relating to your use of the Platform
and any transactions conducted via it, and for complying with any applicable record-keeping legislation.

by us, you agree and acknowledge that these applications and
websites are operated by Third Parties and are not controlled by, affiliated to, or associated with us
